Our Buildings Study and the Power of Imagination

Our young scholars have been discovering the power of imagination and sustainability by transforming everyday recycled materials into vibrant representations of the buildings in their community. Drawing from items collected during their Reduce, Reuse, Recycle study—such as boxes, cardboard tubes, and food containers—children reimagined these familiar objects as essential tools for design and construction in their Buildings study.

Through this hands-on exploration, they not only deepened their understanding of structures, balance, and spatial design, but also developed a meaningful appreciation for environmental responsibility. This engaging approach fosters creativity, problem-solving, and pride, as each child takes ownership of their learning and contributes to a shared vision brought to life in their exhibition.
