Veronica Gbenedio

Veronica Gbenedio is the Educational Director at our Friends of Crown Heights Carroll Street Center, in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn. The center is located at 995 Carroll Street, between Bedford and Franklin Avenues.

Mrs. Gbenedio earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Medgar Evers College, and her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York. She also holds Early Childhood Initial and Professional Certificates from the State of New York Education Department. She has been a robust and dedicated member of the FOCH family for well over two decades, having served since 1989 in various capacities including bookkeeper and classroom teacher. She is especially proud of her reputation in the community as a caring, friendly, loving and warm person who “adores” working with her children, their parents and her staff.

In her personal life, Mrs. Gbenedio is also a wife and mother, who embraces these roles among her most treasured accomplishments and vital responsibilities.
